Making Dining Reservations at the Universal Orlando Resort is not as easy as you might expect!
Especially if you are used to making dining reservations at Orlando’s other big theme park destination.

A Frustrating Guest Experience
Where Disney World has their website with a link in the main menu to make reservations, their app which mirrors the website as far as reservations go, and one number to call for dining reservations. You can put in a date and time and see what dining locations are available property wide.
At Universal Orlando make it difficult to even find their dining reservations page on their website, Once you do find it you can’t just put in a date and time to see what is available. You have to click on the link for each individual restaurant to check there.
The links on Universal’s Dining Reservations Page take you to one of five different third party websites to check for and make your reservations! There is no single phone number, there are also five different numbers to call for reservations depending on the restaurant.
Universal’s app does not have links for reservations, it only has reservation phone numbers on each restaurants page!

Making a Dining Reservation
Your first challenge will be to find where to begin making your reservation. The reservations page on the Universal website is not prominent, it takes work to find!
So click this link to their Dining Reservations Page and save it for use while at Universal. I recommend you use this link instead of trying to use their app, it will be much easier! Another option is to save this page, as I’ll have all the links below.
On Universal’s page, you’ll see tabs for Universal CityWalk Dining, Theme Park Dining, and Hotel Dining. Each restaurant will have a “Reserve Now” link button and a phone number to call to make reservations.
On Universal’s site and app, you will find all 6 Theme Park table service locations, 8 of the CityWalk locations, and 9 of the Hotel locations. In full disclosure, as of 2025, this list has grown considerably. It used to consist of about 6 or 7 locations.
The following are now on the Universal Site/App:

What’s not on the App?
Here are the websites and phone numbers for Universal restaurants that are not on the website/app:
Most locations are now on Universal’s website or app (only a few were in the past, and it was a nightmare). These locations in CityWalk are not on the Universal site/app (link or number included if available):
- Bob Marley—A Tribute to Freedom [no contact]
- Pat O’Brien’s [(407) 224-3663]
- Hard Rock Cafe

Keeping Track of Your Dining Reservations
Unlike the other Orlando theme park destinations, at Universal Orlando, you’ll need to keep track of all the email confirmations that you receive from the different reservation websites. There is no place on the Universal website or app where you can see them all consolidated together. You’ll need to make a list to remember what reservations you have made.
